Coolshannagh Kids Get the Tidy Towns Bug!

Children in
the Coolshannagh Walk Estate have caught the Junior Tidy Towns bug and have
been busy organising clean ups of their area with leaders Sinead and Louise.
The new estate on the Coolshannagh Road is one of the latest to get involved in the Tidy Towns movement and most of the children are under 12 years of age.
Children have been kitted out with high vis vests, pickers and gloves and their leaders are operating a similar reward system to the other Junior Tidy Towns (JTT) groups where children earn stickers for every activity or litter pick they are involved in, followed by badges and caps once certain levels of work are achieved
Junior Tidy Towns is organised under Monaghan Tidy Towns and supported by the Community Development Fund.
Many thanks to Sinead and Louise for organising in Coolshannagh Walk.
